It’s with a heavy heart that I announce I’m going to step aside from being a 2018 Pitch Wars mentor. I’ve shared mine and my husband’s health issues on social media recently and after discussing it with him, I think it’s best I forgo participating in Pitch Wars.

I apologize to those of you who were thinking about sending me your book. It would have been a privilege to work with you on your publishing journey. Instead, I’ll be cheering you from the sidelines as I help my husband recover from his emergency surgery and adjust to a new gallbladder-free lifestyle all while I fight this infection that continues to beat up my kidneys and bladder.

I will continue to post my free query critiques for those who submit them, but I won’t be able to keep up with the one-a-day frequency. If you get into Pitch Wars (congrats!) before I post your query, just message me and let me know so I can delete your entry. Your new fabulous mentor will help you with it.
