Thanks to pinterest, I got an idea of a snack/breakfast item to add to my growing list of healthy foods. I gave it a go and discovered it not only tasted delicious, it was very filling. So filling, I could only eat half.
Ingredients:
- Medium-sized banana, peeled
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1/8 cup low-fat granola (or enough to coat banana)
Directions:
- Measure out one serving of peanut butter and smooth it over the peeled banana. Chilling it in the fridge or freezer might make this process easier.
- Spread the granola on a plate and roll the pb covered banana around it. Slice it up into bite sized pieces or cut it in half.
