In 2016, I was introduced to Rukhsana Ali through the extraordinarily talented Sabina Khan. I knew right away I wanted in on this novel and had lots of ideas to take her story to the next level. That year, I had the pleasure of being her mentor and watched her gain a wonderful agent as well as sell this beautiful novel.

Yesterday, I received an ARC for the very novel I helped her revise.
