Banana Crunch

Banana Crunch

Thanks to pinterest, I got an idea of a snack/breakfast item to add to my growing list of healthy foods. I gave it a go and discovered it not only tasted delicious, it was very filling. So filling, I could only eat half.

Ingredients:

  • Medium-sized banana, peeled
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/8 cup low-fat granola (or enough to coat banana)

Directions:

  1. Measure out one serving of peanut butter and smooth it over the peeled banana. Chilling it in the fridge or freezer might make this process easier.
  2. Spread the granola on a plate and roll the pb covered banana around it. Slice it up into bite sized pieces or cut it in half.

2 servings

Nutritional Facts:

The nutritional information will change based upon the peanut butter you use.

This is great to make with kids too.
